Aegis fixed and mobile shields by Columbia provide peace of mind within collaborative learning and working environments. The clear 1/8" polycarbonate barriers allow face to face interaction while preventing or slowing the spread of germs and bacteria. All surfaces of Aegis barriers, including removable brackets, polycarbonate, and powder-coated carbon steel are easily disinfected. Both mobile and fixed barriers can be manufactured to address sitting or standing workstations and personalized to fit any dimension.

According to OSHA's "Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19," engineering controls, such as physical barriers, reduce exposure to hazards without relying on worker behavior and can be the most cost effective solution to implement. Columbia's temporary shields provide the most flexibility for rapid response and retraction so institutions can be prepared based on the level of risk over time. AEGIS FIXED SHIELDS

Aegis fixed shields are designed for easy assembly and removal from an array of existing products in schools, offices and other learning and working environments. They are equipped with removable brackets which do not require any drilling into or damage to the existing work surface and adjust to fit surfaces from 0.625" to 1.25" thick. They can be personalized to any shape table, desk or work partition to permit users to utilize existing collaborative environment.

AEGIS MOBILE SHIELDS

Aegis mobile shields are designed to be used in classrooms, libraries, offices, or other working environments. Frames are made with 1"x1" carbon steel frame, equipped with clear 1/8" polycarbonate barriers and locking wheels. Units can nest to store in minimal space, can be customized in size, and can have foldable panels for even more barrier protection.
