October 25-27, 2017 - Columbia Manufacturing displayed at the EDSPACES 2017 in Kansas City, MO. Latest product offerings were introduced to the marketplace and received with enthusiasm by dealers, architects, and school authorities alike. Among the new introductions were the new Galaxy puzzle tables, the new Jiggle chair, new Patent-pending Wiggle desk, new rocking chair and the latest gathering/charging tables.

November 11, 2017- Hartford, CT Auto Show displayed an actual production line 1905 Columbia Electric Automobile. Albert Pope, founder of Columbia Manufacturing is known to be the Father of Modern Roads in America. Besides being the first manufacturer of Bicycles and mopeds in America, Columbia was the first producer of Electric Automobiles.

DuPont de Nemours & Co.; Ali Salehi, senior vice president of engineering and operations at Columbia Manufacturing Inc.; Lisa Hansen, manager of technical services in the Environmental Quality Office at Ford Motor Co.; and Michael Moss, director of corporate environmental affairs at Samsung Electronics North America.

Columbia Mfg. celebrated 52 years of loyal and dedicated service of Robert (Bob) Rogalski on September 2, 2016. Bob has served in many capacities, including bicycle crater and shipper as well as furniture loader. In his 52 years of service, Bob has shipped millions of bicycles and pieces of furniture worldwide. Bob's long career at Columbia included 47 years of perfect attendance. Columbia is proud of Bob and his long and dedicated service.

Celebrating 1460 Days of Safe Work Habits

On August 31, 2016 Columbia Mfg. Inc. celebrated 1,460 days of operations with "NO LOST TIME ACCIDENT." Previous record was set in 2009 that lasted 1,332 days. Columbia celebrated the occasion with a pizza party for all employees and presented them with a shirt for this outstanding record breaking performance.

Academy Charter planned to open a brand new 20+ classroom middle school in September 2014. Nickerson Furniture, a dealer of Columbia Mfg., was involved in designing and supplying all classroom furniture. The building was originally a New York state office building being converted into a school. Being involved with this project from the very beginning made for a smooth transition during the installation process since all parties were aware of what was being supplied and installed in advance.
